Beneficiary of the BUSThink Project

Maru emigrated to Spain from Argentina, 5 years ago. He lives in Ibiza (Balearic Islands). Although she currently works in the clothing and fashion sector, her dream is to be able to develop a space in which various activities are integrated, and in which healthy eating is a central element.
Her philosophy of life and personal values encourage her to try to develop an enterprise in which she could provide the community in which she lives with her services and knowledge, creating an open space in which she can come into contact with people with similar interests, and in which cultural activities, recreational and restaurant activities are integrated.
Her experience as a cook and preparation of healthy meals, together with her passion for this lifestyle, make Maru have the advantage of being able to start a business that will have all her energy to carry it forward. Her participation in the BUSThink project helped her to give shape to her project idea. Starting from an initial idea that he brought to the workshop in Modena, he validated and redefined his value proposition through this training and then holding small events at his home to obtain feedback.

Value Proposition: Space open to the community, open to socialization and community and neighborhood integration, where healthy eating is the central element.

As for the application of the principles of Design Thinking incorporated into the BUSTHink model, in addition to the validation exercise of her value proposition that she carried out in the workshop in Modena, Maru has developed 2 events in her house to adjust the proposal. The diners provided important information that served to validate and adjust the design of the proposal.
Regarding her experience as a beneficiary of the BUSThink project, Maru has expressed that it has been a great pleasure to have been chosen and to participate in the training and mentoring to be able to develop her business plan, and that the experience was very enriching.
