Updated: Jun 27, 2024

From June 18th to 20th, the city of Modena (Italy) hosted the 3rd International Workshop of the Erasmus+ project "BUSThink - Agile Business Design for Older Adult Migrants." coordinated by CARPOACE EUROPE S.L., the event brought together 15 migrants from Italy, Belgium, and Spain, along with 6 staff members from the partner organizations.
During these three days, participants engaged in multiple team building and networking activities, including dinners and walks through the beautiful city of Modena, creating an atmosphere of collaboration and cultural exchange.
📅 Details of the June 19th Workshop: On June 19th, participants received comprehensive training on the BUSThink method and the fundamental principles of the Business Model Canvas. Beneficiaries had the opportunity to reassess and refine their business ideas, guided by experts from the partner organizations.
In the second part of the day, each participant presented their value proposition, receiving feedback from their peers through brainstorming sessions based on Design Thinking. This approach stimulated new ideas and strengthened the quality of the value propositions.
Finally, some participants presented their business ideas to the entire group, preparing for the final event to be held in November 2024 in Málaga. The next steps were also outlined, including mentorship programs to further develop their business plans.
